If you have never seen Icon Wipers
http://jobs.boschusa.com/AutoParts/WiperBlades/ICON/#
I recently installed them on my SAAB 9-3 windshield, and was thinking of buying one for the rear wiper although Bosch does not have a listing. Mind you Bosch does not list ICON for my model yet it fits beautifully. For those of you with rear screen wipers do you have any experience with ICON.

Just measure the one on the car now and get one that size and see if it fits, keep your receipt and return it if it dont fit, but if the Fronts fit why wouldnt the rear?

I have no doubt that they will clip and fit but; ICON creates downforce with that rubber curve, keeping it planted to the FRONT glass. SAAB rear wiper is mounted vertically when not in operation to reduce drag. So the direction of the curve is in question, although I believe I could change the position when not in operation. Think that the Corrado would be best analogy to my issue, they have similar hatch form and rear wiper. So the question is: based on hatch aerodynamics what is the best way to mount said wiper?

I've got 'em on the front and love them. I didn't bother with the rear. I hardly use it anyway.

seems that you shouldnt have to **** with the arm placement, just point the curve towards the front of the car (when thinking of it pointing at the front when the arm is at full extention at the base of the rear windshield). That would make the air flow over the car and down the hatch keep the wiper planted more on the glass (theoretically).

I am thinking that sounds right, the curve facing out in vertical position and up in the horizontal with the flat part facing the spoiler. Only thought was lift off so I needed some feed back on spitballing and talk through it.
PS: I went for some things today, got that VW rechargeable flashlight thingy very cool and these. I think all people want to unwrap their toys and play right way. It was true when you were a kid and my grandfather once bought a boat in November and put on the water as it was snowing. Lotar your comment only made me want it to rain even more before the can-am this weekend makes me sick or at least nuts in my estimation

Anybody else noticed the annoying vacuum that causes water to be drawn back into the field of vision on the return sweep? I've got them on my A4, the GF's Forrester and my brother has them on his M3... all three cars exhibit this. They look great and perform marginally.

The Subie guys talk up both the Bosch Icon and Valeo Ultimate blades. I want to get a set of either. Anyone know where to get em locally? Autozone/Advance Auto/PepGirls? Would save me from having to go to each place. Thanks!

I ended up at Advanced Auto Parts on West Genesse priced at 21.43 each
As for the vacuum i would say not terribly so and not any more than exhibited by other wipers

To be honest I have not found any wipers that work to some satisfaction on the Corrado. I think the Corrado was built to promote Rain-X.
