I got a used Begi FMU off ebay for really cheap. I want to test it on the car without driving into boost. I have an inline fuel pressure gauge that reads up to 150psi. There is a port for a boost reference on the FMU that I would hook a vaccume line off the FPR. I was wondering if I could start the car and have it idle then somehow simulate boost to this port using either a handheld vaccume pump or maybe my aircompressor with a line attached. Think this would work? Any ideas on how to simulate a boost situation with the car idling....I dont want to run lean under boost, and think this would be the safest bet.
