Well, as some of you guys know, i picked up four teardrops from Pierce's this past weekend (two of those tires were juuuuuunk!).

I'm looking into redoing the finish on them (I'll get pics up soon), three wheels aren't that bad, the fourth one has more of that aluminum oxidation stuff. There are a couple routes I am thinking, and these are probably going to end up as my snowtire wheels.

1. Was thinking of stripping the clear, or somehow getting the nice polished finish back to how it used to be, or better. (may not be the best choice since they are most likely going to see snow)

2. Sandblasting the finish off of them completely and having the wheels and caps powdercoated somewhere in syr. (I can sandblast them myself).

There are some scratches on the so I was thinking of wetsanding those down as best as I can, and then going from there. Any tips/suggestions, etc? I think someone on here refinished wheels not too long ago, maybe it was on the tex. You should also know that I've never done this before, but hey, I have to learn somehow, lol.
