I have a Greddy Rs BOV on my 12v vr6 turbo, and I hooked it up just before the throttle body. I was wondering if this is correct location and can I use a BOV with this engine? Also I used the vaccume hose to a port on the throttle body, Is this okay?

Here is my boost plumbing.....I am new to this so I may have messed up

3 inch inlet using stock MAF to the turbo. Then 2.5 inch off the turbo with a vaccume tap just past the turbo to the wastegate to the intercooler and back up through the Greddy BOV and back to 3 inches to the trottle body.

Does this sound right? I havent really had my car running for any long amount of time because of a busted oil line.

eip puts there's on the pipe close to the throttle body. although its a maf car its not like a 1.8T where it is turbo in the first place so it looks for the air in the intake plumbing (thats why a bov on 1.8t's tend to give you a CEL.) but since the vr isn't meant to be turbo'd it might not care. idk that's the way i think about it. plus they make that cool wooshin sound.

and the pippin sounds ok i've heard of people running 3" to the turbo, to the intercooler then cause of the cooler denser charge they go down to like 2.75 or 2.5 up to the throttle body. most the mk4 kits have a huge intake for the turbo and smaller pipping for the rest.
