ok I deleted the heater core. what do i do with the lineout the side of the head...it basicly could return to the water pump right???

I have the metal crack pipe in and blocked off the far end and will run the other outlet to the coolant resivor. does this make sense I am on my 3rd try at getting this right...not having the heater core lines is making it look like it wont flow right.


what if i connect the blocked off end of the crack pipe to the flange on the side of the head????would that work......

ryan you said it connects to the lower rad hose...but in the diagram and pis I am looking at that doesnt make sense....could you look at the rocco real quick for me...

Yeah its the lower of the two small ports on the waterpump. You run the hose from the head to the crack pipe. You are just connecting the head hose to where the heater core exit used to go on the crack pipe.
So you will have the expansion tank, head hose and one of the oil cooler hoses going to the same lower port on the pump.
