"Two weeks"

You'll have to see it in person but it looks fantastic. The weave has
a lot of depth to it and it is a beautiful looking piece.

Anyways that's not what's important.

Engine note has increased . . . it sounds much more aggressive when
going WOT. Throttle response has sharpened substantially. After 50mph,
I notice a fair amount of power increase and throttle response. Off
the line response is better as well. Between 5,250rpm-7krpm, I notice
that the engine pulls so much smoother and faster. When I let off in
that range, the engine doesn't lurch/bog and drop RPMs as quickly.
Acceleration all around under 3/4 throttle feels significantly
smoother.

I like it. Only downside is that the fitment isn't 100% accurate. The
end of the intake that gets coupled is a bit too large and I had a
helluva time slipping the coupler on.

The increase in sound isn't the same as the filter on a stick intakes . . . my friend has the neuspeed P-flo (similar to the EVOms V-flow) and he says that it sounds funky @ idle. With those intakes, you get a weird straw-sucking noise + resonant burbling, much like water going down a drain.

This intake sounds fairly stock at idle . . . . but i've noticed that the BOV noise is slightly increase & when you go WOT . . . . at around 4k-up it really brings out the engine note. Sounds mean as hell . . . . almost makes me not want to get an exhaust. Letting off the throttle sharply, you get a similar noise to the exhaust gurgle.

Stock paper filter @ 12k . . . . had stains probably due to water infiltration . . .

although it is very nice, $280.00 for what basically translates into a fancy ram air kit is expensive.

I'd do it too cause I luv carbon fiber!
