i want to replace the n75 valve on my 1.8t, but im not sure if the race valve would be the best for a daily driver??, any suggestions would be helpful. im also chipped with a 3" TB exhaust, so im wondering would all this be too much for that little Ko3S to handle?

honestly the n75 is one of those things your going to have to test a few to see which works the best. The valves hardly ever give constant results between cars in the posts I've read on vortex.

(BTW reply to my PMs so we can meet up)

Stu's right. The ECS Race (N75H) can be a bit to surgy on some cars. N75 results depend allot on the chip you are using and the mods that are on your car. I have a ECS race valve if you want to try it out. I am using the J valve on my GTI (GIAC X+) currently.

im running giac 93 and a 3" Turbo back, maybe at a GTG or something i could throw your race valve on and see how it runs, RichB, where did you find your J valve?, all i saw on the ECS tuning page was the H valve.

Can't recall where I got my N75J from.... many vendors sell them or you can pick one up at your local VW dealer!

If you have not removed your N75 before, make sure you get some good quality small clamps to replace the one time use clamps (you will need 3). Will make it much easier swapping out N75s in the future! :)

You can always find used N75s for sale on the Vortex:
