I realize that this 'category' might be for the powered by other then your own feet, but I have a trek 8500 (hard tail) w/various aftermarket stuff on it.
I’m in the process of getting the thing together so I can ride this year! I wasn’t able to last year because of numerous factors, but most included the fact that it was ungodly hot, my apt was to small to properly clean the bikes and I was extremely lazy.
This year will be different, although while cleaning the bike last night I noticed my bottom bracket was shot. Time for an upgrade I say, but since my bikes old I’m not sure if they even make the style bottom bracket I need any more.
In comes http://www.pricepoint.com/ Where I’ll be spending quite a bit of cash on stuff to get up and running this year. I can’t wait!
I’m thinking a RaceFace crankset, new chain, new rear chainset should get me started, at some point I’d like to replace my wheelset but it will suffice for this year. I haven’t been able to put many miles on my frame since I cracked it and had it replaced under the lifetime warranty that Trek has (which is awesome)
Most of the bike is XT, the derailer’s are xt and lx I think, the current crankset is lx, I don’t have disk brakes because I’m oooooold school fool (and broke)
I do have most of the equipment to tear down and adjust your bikes though, if you need anything done/replaced/serviced.
