02a bolt size question....can someone look up please

I need the bolt size and length for the tranny mount... the main bolt and the three that bolt the mount to the tranny...

I also need the bolt size and length for the shifter cable bracket that bolts to the top of the tranny.

if anyone could look these up in the bently for me today that would rock...I am going to hiawatha fasteners at lunch to buy some more stainless bolts for them and other stuff. cuz they are cheap and I will prob never have to replace them again this way. thanks brent

IIRC, the three bracket to mount bolts are M8x92 and M8x45. We had to find thi out so Stu could buy them for the same thing. The mount bolt, I dont remember. Maybe Stu will chime in, because he ordered that one too.

For specialty bolts like that I usually go through the dealer, they cost a few bucks but they will help you find the right ones.


Theres a slight chance they might give you the size over the phone, if you talk to Derek anyway....

sorry I cant be more help. You could also buy a hodge podge of bolts and just get a reciept, Hawatha should take back what you dont use... see if you can figure out gurth and then just buy some different lengths.

all I know off hand are the trans bracket ones, 2 are M8x92 and 1 is M8x45. Call up Burdick and ask for Derrick or Kyle - they'll get you the sizes (and if you can wait till thursday order them for you also)

You can measure them even if you don't have them. Take a skinny screwdriver stick it in the hole. Put finger on top of hole. Pull out screwdriver and measure the bitch.
