I need a few specs...
1. fly wheel bolts
2. pressure plate bolts
3. arp head stud bolts 16v what oil to lube them
4. valve cover
5. bell housing to eng. bolts....
any help would be great..I dont have a bently...

1. Realy Tight
2. Tight
3. ARP says 85 ft lbs with 30wt motor oil, find a diagram of the sequence though it is important to do it right.
4. PLease......like 15-20 I think....
5. Really fing tight....

addnda, for heal bolts you shoudl always do it in steps as well....usually like 30,60 and 85 ft lbs or something.

remember last time I put a flywheel in the bolts backed out on ryan.....I dont want that to happen again..

the head studs are 65 w/arp moly lube. I'll go with Adam on the oil only method. Definetly use steps, I usually do 10-15lb intervals. I usually do 3 steps.
Definetly torque the fywheel bolts.

ive never had a problem just making everything nice and tight, if I have any doubts I will use a little loctite and double check every bolt (re-torque everything before I move on to the next step).
Are you gonna be working on the car today? If so I'll stop by on the way to the garage, I kinda wanna check out the side exit.

The spec is 44lb/ft plus a 90 degree turn.

I know...crazy...but the rado bently doesnt have 16v stuff and the engine is all 16v I prob should get a passat one or something for a 16v 02a setup
