this is what I am thinking...so here me out...AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK
we could do it for free at longbranch park, people could bring whatever they wanted and use the grills for free...the parking lot is huge. We could hold an one day event. It doesnt have to be a fastdubs event just a corrado GTG. I have a ton of friends with rado's who would love to come out and I am sure you do too. and maybe we could do a little swap meet type thing.
if its a viable Idea I will look into it.
Nothing against the other model vw's but would like it to be rado/rocco specific. maybe charge 1 buck to donate to the park.
post thoughts...

I'd be down, but it would have to be during the wind-down of show season. People have tons of plans for the summer, so maybe shortly after labor day or something. To get a good showing, you'd have to plan early and just pick a date and stick to it. You'll never get a date that everyone is down with... no matter how hard you try.

Longbranch is free to use for that size of group? I doubt it. You will still most likely need a permit, just as we have in the past. August is kind of void of activity right now, or maybe the first or second week in September but that is hard due to H20

I talked to them yesterday and if you are not specificly using the pavilions or park services the parking lot is free. They do not require a permit unless you are a business and taking money. Donations to the park are excepted.
This is from the chick at the rental desk. alot of the weekends up there have things going on. I am going to swing by and grab a park schedule...

Interesting. We have always had to get a permit. Did you "persuade" the chick at the rental desk??? :p

"The parking lots are reserved for parking for the folks who reserve the shelters. You would need to reserve a shelter for a large group. Visit this page for a list of shelters available, there is no charge or permit required to reserve a single shelter"
so looks like I am good and I told them about 60 to 100 people...i cant see more corrado's than that showing up since toranto only gets that many every year.
what do ya think .......anyone interested...

I'll do my little part to spread the word. It would be cool to see a lot of Rado's together in a setting w/o a ton of other VW's.
