I need some more PS fluid for the Raddo. Is it like most cars? Just pick up some automatic transmission fluid and fill'r up or is it something special?

Pentosin
Power Steering Fluid; 11.S Synthetic;
models specifying CHF 11.S hydraulic fluid. should say under your hood. cost like 20 bucks a liter.

I think '89 and older cars use atf. Our rocco does. Oh yeah and don't try atf in the later cars. I was skeptical about this but it will f up the system.... I tried it.

Its a 90 G60. So i have to look for special stuff then? Is this dealer only goods or Autozone-ready?

Searched for you. You do need the pricey stuff. GAP also has it for the cheapest by far..

I bought a can @ NAPA in CA for $13.95 + tax. Almost all napas carry it IIRC.

Yeah, NAPA has it...for $32.
I think I'll wait a day and get it from GAP ($15.16 +s/h). Those guys are like the Newegg.com of car stuff...

That would have been great to know before I ordered it ;-) LOL...Thanks for the tip for the future though. I have never heard of the place to be honest. It should be in tomorrow or Saturday. Since the place is so close, things get here fast anyway.

I gotta stop reading these problems w/ other Corrados... my pump started whining at me today. Fluid is low, so I just ordered my Pentosin from GAP. I'll get the car in the air tonight to see what my problem is.
Jacob- What was your issue? Did you have a leak at the rack or elsewhere? Did you get it all taken care of yet?

It seems to be leaking at the rack but I have not lost any/much since I have filled it. I don't really have the means to replace that yet. I'm guessing that is where it is leaking from much I do not have any issues at this moment (ask me when I get home after this comment ;-) )
