yep i've been blippen the throttle every chance i get now:)
DP looked real good, no codes thrown from removing the cat and still using both o2 sensors, very happy with the outcome

he should not have any codes for the down pipe i just made for him. ive been making custom exhaust for a long time now and know how to cheat the system! let me know what you need done. brian's dp was done right, i took my time on it and it fits perfectly. i make a product to get rid of the infamous
o2 sensor code.

I just need a downpipe now. I have a Techtonics SS 2.5 exhaust that I want to keep for the time being. Should I use a 3" or 2.5" downpipe for this. Next year I will go full 3" exhaust though.

matt...I PMed you a while ago but didnt hear back...Ed Karpinsky told me to contact you. He did my timing belt on my '02 golf TDI a couple weeks ago...I asked him about getting some mods done be he said he doesnt get into that kind of work. I basically need somone with a bit of experience to help me out with my TDI.
Here are some of the starter mods I want to do with my TDI:
PP520 injector nozzles (to be combined with RC3 euro programming)
2.5" turbo back exhaust with egt guage
DG racepipe with EGR cooler delete (probably clean intake manifold and
intercooler because the car has 80k miles)
Boost guage
Upgrade clutch / flywheel
Upgrade oil cooler
Later mods:
possibly vnt 17 or 20
peloquin LSD
FMIC with better piping
water/methanol injection (kit from Snow Performance)
lift pump or some sort of additional fuel pump
let me know if you would be interested in helping me with some of this in the future...thanks

Are you a welder? I just bought a Westfalia tow bar for my W8 and it does not have a place to connect the safety chains from the trailer. I have drawings. Send me your email address and I'll send you the drawings.
TIA,
Tom

He's had my car for almost 9 months now. I paid up front, he said it would take three weeks, the car still sits there in his driveway. He said the car would be covered and in storage in inclement weather, it was covered under 5 feet of snow most of the winter.
That's Matt for you.
