They look like mid 8v MK2 GTI seats.

bummer...i was hoping they were mk3
everybody I talk to says mk3 seats wont work right in a rado and you have to cut the base in two spots shorten and reweld the base....
why cant ya just swap the whole bottom or something......frustrated... I would like brent1 mk3 seats in the rado but want the rado base cuz of the lap belt. but the mk 3 doesnt have the spot for the lap belt to hook...on and without it I would be risking pure suicide:mad:

Dude, just use the rocco bases. I'm sure they will work... I can even help you swap the pad and covers if you want. The rocco bases have seat belt mounting boss right one them. You can have them for $0.

thanks...but what i am trying to do is put mk3 seats in a a2 corrado...without cutting /welding and too much modification. I have corrado seats i am trading for the mk3 seats that are perfect... I just wanna do something all cloth that nobody has really done. and brents are def. a good base for what I want
again thanks for the offer.....

The bottom will separate from the back but the mounting brackets will not come off. The base and whole lower seat is a one peice frame.
The thing to is to swap the entire bottom frame, as long as the bottom is a sport seat it will work. The rocco bases I have will work. You take the MK3 padding and cover and put in on the rocco lower base. Then you attach the MK3 back.
