installations unlimited? Any comments on the rep of that place? I called them up last week and whoever answered the phone wasn't very receptive to answering questions . . .

They were listed on solargard's website as a dealer . . . but when I called, they said they only carry Madico films :( Really only looking for llumar, solargard or formula one right now.

I know TKKEN01 just got his A3 tinted there . . . . need to go up to syr sometime and see how they did on his car.

Dave,

Be careful with tinting on Cornell's campus. Last time I was there I saw a guy pulled over by securuty getting a ticket for too much tinting.

I eventually got the ticket dismissed.

Nevertheless, I've been looking at doing 50% tint all the way around.

50% on an A3 . . .

Lol . . . . ya, it's basically no tint.

I don't think my tinter likes those laws. She mostly does 35% all around.

madico....... is the brand that installations uses...I just got off the phone with j..

he is working on getting on the site but was having some little issues I think.

The 50% looks real nice....would probably look even nicer on your red car as well. I woundn't think any cop would give you poo over that modest a tint (under normal conditions that is). I have 38% on the rear doors on back on the Passat (legal on a SUV/"truck", but not on a "Passanger Car") and have never had a problem. The GTI has 38% on the sides and back... no problems so far ... knock wood.
