nice, whatcha doing with that greddy now ?

I'm gonna hang on to it to make sure this works out. As soon as I know I'm good with the synapse, I'll sell it. I also have another that has a busted housing at the mount for parts I'm gonna sell. AND, I have another synapse to sell w/ no base or DV attachment. I have a habit of collecting isht. BTW Rob, I just now realized I never checked that reducer coupler size for you. Still in need?

omg. that oil line was a pita. it's all buttoned up... just need to put the battery in, get some stuff out of it, and clean it up. I'll probably take it out tonight and tinker a bit.

so it runs! and just like it did when I put her up. I've got mad belt slip, but I swear the boost comes on quicker! I need to try the belt dressing and compare some logs. The popping seems to subside once the car warms up. It wasn't bad at all coming back from my drive to t-burg. I'm anxious to find a new pulley and do the bearings... I want moar. of course more tuning time, too.

Any chance one of the gatorback belts would help? I always wanted to try one to see if it would help with slipping, but never did.

yeah, I've been thinking about trying one, I just have to remember what size I need. I have a spare belt around here somewhere...

It did pretty well up until I blew a coolant line from the head to the heater core right in the middle of the course! It was a sight to see... steam everywhere... red flags... fun! I had just enough momentum to roll it right into my parking space. The line split down the length of the hose from the head to the plastic insert for the T to the throttle body. Of course nobody has this hose in stock (for a Corrado? really?) an it will be in on Wednesday. I had my buddy John run me home to get a section of hose and a short pipe to do a temp fix and get her home. Now I've got a lot of cleaning to do... coolant is everywhere!!! And the hood insulation is done. It was bad before, but now it's completely disintegrating.

The crappy thing was that I was chasing 1st place and down by 0.7 secs. The car had it in her, I just needed to put it all toegether in a clean run w/ only 2 tries left. *gah* oh well. Also, I might have found a shop w/ a Dyno that will tune MS. I gotta see what he charges.

That blows, literally.....at least you can get it fixed by the next race. Any chance for a gtg this week?
