i picked up an 88 audi 5000 turbo last night, it's red with a tan heated leather interior. it's got 210,000 miles on it but almost no rust and it runs pretty good. it's needs a right headlight,a mirror and the left rear wheel bearing needs to be done. aside from that the interior is a little dirty and has a small tear on the bottom of the drivers seat but for $250 i'm not complaining:wink: so i'm looking for a complete parts car if anybody comes across one local please LMK asap. i'll get some pic's and post them when i bring it home on friday.

yeah it's a 10v and you are correct the 20v never came in the 5000. the price is great!!! even if i had to put $750 into it to make it really nice it's worth it,the car is in really nice shape except for the dirty interior and any running road worthy turbo quattro car is worth at least a grand.

well either way you can definatly still have some fun with it. I know a guy whos got one as a winter rat with a chip and a wastegate spring, we also installed a factory bosch 1.8t DV in the boost piping, given the system has no boost recirc valve, and it all did wonders for the power, and it sounds much better too:smile:

yeah i'm going to do a few simple mods for a little more power but nothing to crazy it is a 20 year old car with 210k on it.
