Well my car hit 260 degrees on the thruway on the way to work yesterday...so i spent the whole evening replacing a water pump and doing a timing kit...with a little help from Lite...while it overheated my engine light came on and hasn't turned off since....i got it all together and runs great but i need to get that code cleared....

Thats weird - 95's arent supposed to hold codes. You sure the timing is on? if you want to reset the light manually you can disconect the battery and touch the terminals together for 20 minutes. in my experience 20 minutes isnt enough, I would do it for at least an hour.

hes talking about his MKIV golf 2.0.

Change your sig, Ack!!! Oh, and good job doing the waterpump; all I did was smoke his cigarettes and watch...

I'm willing to bet that code will clear itself within 100 miles...
