I’m hoping someone can offer some insight/help. . . A friend here at Drum has a 96’ A4 with a driver’s side window issue. I have not looked at it, thanks to my back! She says it needs a “rivet” on the backside of the track (door skin side I’m guessing). Anyone know if this is a common issue? Any tips on fixing it? Maybe a shop in the Syracuse area that can repair it cheap?!

A lot of window regulators have a few "arms" that are riveted to the door skin. My dad does autoglass here in Syracuse.

Dealer told her $200, think (without knowing whats going on in the door!!!) it could be a lot less?!

Depends if the regulator is bad/the motor something like that. I just bought a new window regulator for my mk4. Its was 90$
