you can post pics at anytime, they just need to be hosted elsewhere. Go to tinypic.com, photosuck-it, flickr, or some other free hosting service to create an account and upload pics. Then copy the image url and paste it in the pop-up window that appears when you click the little picture button above the text box while in the "reply" screen.
