thats what i was thinking. will the engine run with out it??
on the euro engine there is no where for it to plug in. only one plug on the loom.

Where did that Jetronic box come from? And what car/harness are you attempting to plug it into??

Are you using the fuel injection that came with the engine or just the harness (loom) out of the rabbit? If you want to use the fuel injection you need it...if you just want to use the loom you don't BUT...a lot of the wiring going into and out of the loom is connected to that...it is the engine computer. Check the wiring diagrams that todd (fuslit) posted for more info.
