Holy $&#%, what a difference! Anyone else with a chipped MKV GTI? I need suggestions for updating my PCV and DV.

Don't bother with either. At the most, I'd do the Eurojet PCV fix.

Forge DV is overrated.

Forge DV is annoying! Congrats. I drove a REVO'd GTI it was a blast, my rabbit is GIAC'd.

Yeah, I guess I'm just gonna wait until my current DV goes bad and replace it with the new G spec OEM DV. The Forge is a red flag at the dealership that you're chipped. It also requires yearly maintenance. I've read a lot about the Eurojet fix for the PCV. I might just get it as a preventative measure.

IMO the next step you should look at is either upgrading suspension or getting a downpipe and doing APR SII :smile:

I have the euro springs on it already. Soon to have H&R rear swaybar. Downpipe, exhaust and stage II maybe after warranty is up.

Welcome to FD. Need pics so we can judge your ride height accordingly....hahaha meaning most eveyone here likes it low...so expect some raz'ing but all in good fun. Have you noticed any difference in mpg? Not that $3.95/gal scares us ;)

Just a Question, Did you happen to be on 81 South this morning around 8:15. I saw a low MK V and did not know who was driving it. I thought I saw a girl in the passenger seat. If not can anyone throw me a bone to who it was. It was silver with aftermarket wheels and lowered. They would have saw my Silverstone MkIV in the fast lane.

Still, :icon_yeahthat: need the pics to judge LOL!:laugh:

That wasn't me this morning. I don't want to lower it to much cause it's my daily driver. It has to get through the snow!
