Can you use a dived tang T4 flanged turbo on a non-divided turbo manifold? or will it create a lot of turbulence or other issues?

Got a killer deal on a Innovative T4 from a friend in NH, but not sure if I can use it

I would just machine the divided part to a knife like edge if not already like that for a 1.8t

.. this for a vr or 1.8t?

Its for a VR6 using a Kinetic Manifold, which is bored for a t3, and has provisions for a T4 pattern, I have also seen people hog out the material around the flange to make it a T4 only manifold which I would consider if I end up with this turbo

I dont see any reason why it wouldnt work. prolly not as efficiently as one that is partnered with a split manifold but I think it would work just as good as one without split ports, ( Im looking at the diagrams in Corky Bell's book)
