Audi problem

i have a problem with my audi screen located with my gauges and i checked and the fuse wasn't bad and was wondering if anyone else has an ideas of what it could be..

the lcd screen on my OLD audi froze and is no longer readable. I think the '01 screens are lcd, but dunno. Have you VAG-COM'd it to check for any codes?

Buddy of mine back in Wilmington's '01 S4, several lines on the display went out rendering in virtually unreadable. Big bucks to fix at the stealership, he traded it in instead.

my MFA red screen on my B5 passat starts to fade out when the inside gets too hot, on summer drives at night, or in the winter with the heat cranked. It takes about an hour for this to happen, and goes away when cold
