Zune

I know its not automotive but i need some help here. Anyone here have one and can give me some tips?

Heres my problem....

If i rip a cd, It always comes up as unknown artist and unknown track title. So i thought i would just rip the cd with windows and then put the files into Zune's software. Well it almost worked. Now i have the track title and i have the artist title. But on the Zune itself it doesnt show the artist at all. It still throws them under songs and makes me go fish for them. This of course gets really annoying when you at work and just want to hear that one band/album.

When your ripping them what ever software your using is not configuring the ID3 tags and thus its not able to display them sorted as you'd assume.

I'd give you the software I use....but my main PC's power supply crapped out and I'm waiting for the new one to arrive.

I'm not totally sure, but I know that my I-tunes programs has to be linked to the internet for auto naming (title, artists). I'm not too familiar with Zune, but that could be a problem, if not then sorry for not being any help, good luck!:cool:

thanks fellas but i found the problem. Little bugger has a setting on the Zune itself on how its sorts music. All fixed.
