My brother is making one of these, only he has a much larger turbo from a diesel truck, I hope to be far away when he starts it though.

He has this little cart he plans to mount it to, I'm not sure he'll ever do it but I won't be there to watch, let alone 2 feet from it driving the cart. the turbo he has is the biggest one I have ever seen, originally he was gonna get a few smaller ones and run them together but this one came into the yard and had no play. He says the wheels in it are slightly bigger than his T-76 but the housings themselves are huge, like a foot across at the backing plate on the compressor and larger than a TD06 flange on the turbine with a 4" V-band outlet. sitting that close to something that hot and unstable seems like a death wish to me.

Argh...now I'm away from the home computer where I saved a pretty cool link.
Jet engine....very small, twins, attached to the back of a regular bicycle!!! Video shows the startup and him running along!!!
Maybe Todd still has that...
Making your own can make a nice beer cooler as well :) Saw that link and DIY somewhere as well...of course, on the home computer!
