So in another forum I caught a link to a thread post on some Nebraska Muscle Car forum about a 0 emissions engine concept. His idea was to boost his car and the net effect would be no emissions. I'd explain more, but you just gotta read it from the op's words...

dammit!! site moderators must have deleted the thread... it was wicked funny, too!! basically the idiot that posted owns a corvette and was thinking about turbo applications. He was amazed at the inefficiency of turbos being around 80% (??). So his concept was "Direct Exhaust Injection"!! yup, you got it... DIRECT recirculation of the exhaust straight into the intake! He figures the heat may be little bit high, but the pressure would be greater and more than make up for it! Here's his sketch to help illustrate (luckily I grabbed it b4 the link went down)...

I shot a lil' Coke out my nose when I read the thread!! I thought it was a joke at first, but the guy was dead serious! And if you thought texers were flamers... omg! Everyone ripped this guy... it was funny... guess you had to be there.

Or perhaps they shouldn't be allowed to tinker with them. Now if you just added a conair hair dryer (solar powered of course) you could get like an extra 1000hp.

funny thing is.... in a way thats what an EGR system is. and OBDI VR6's have it. Just not at that level
