first I bought this
http://www.bahnbrenner.com/vw_audi/product_images/phpk74hDU.full.jpg

it uses a mk3 t.b. and I need one with a tps., or will a mk4 t.b. use the same bolt pattern. I have a mk4 with tps already.

will I need to change my tps factors in the ecu.?

are there any other issues I could run into with a single plenum compared to the butterfly valve style with two.

I plan on making two phenolic spacers at work next week to go between the intake and this and then the t.b. and this. does anybody know if you use gaskets when you use phenolic?

If its the TB I gave you its an OBD1 MK3. I wouldn't use a MK4 or any OBD2 VW unit.
You are going to have to change your tps values in your ecu. No biggy though. I bet your throttle cable is going to be too short but a I bet a stock MK3 cable would work.
You might have to mess with the accleration enrich values, this TB will let more air in quicker. BUT, I had a single plate so it might run better with no messing.

There is no advantage really. No size difference, they also have no throttle stop so you will not be able to idle unless you wire in a IAC valve. On top of that they have like 8 pins and are PITA to figure out.

ok cool, I missread your post and thought you ment for me to use a obd2... ok cool so I am all set when it comes.

bbm says the stock corrado throttle cable will work due to it being longer. we will see.

I need to get a mk3 throttle cable holder if anyone has an extra??
