2004 A4 vag-com question

Can I use a trial version of vag-com on a 2004 A4? I swapped a coilpack for the guy and that fixed the issue now I want to clear the light for him. Not sure if my non-registered version (409.1) will work on a newer car.

I don't think it cares what car you have it hooked up to. I think you should be able to read and clear codes with the trial SW.

Depends on what cable you have. Most of the ebay cables don't have the dual K-line connection which is required to scan 2002 and up audis.
