Would you run a surge tank through the floor?

So I got screwed out of my custom designed surge and am looking for cheaper alternatives....

Found this, the design is to have it mounted through the floor where the back seat would be. My reservations about it would be the 3 fuel line connections inside the car....anyone else have good/bad comments about buying this?

not for me...if you are running a fuel cell maybe..

why dont you get the design to matt and see if you can work something out... I have heard good stuff about his work so far.

Are you keeping the stock tank? I would be worried about the fuel lines too. In the event of an accident, that could have some pressure in it for a bit after the pump is shut down.
You could build an enclosure around it to seal it off from the cabin. Why not just get one that fits under the floor.

I was just looking at alot of race cars and its pretty normal I guess... It would make me a bit nevous still.... but hell nobody can burn up two cars in a row.... a guy at work ows me a big big favor too... get me the design if nobody else will do it....I will call him out on it.
