Yesterday I did a little maintenance on my jetta. Changed the fuel filter because it was leaking, changed the oil because it was time, rotated the tires front to back (their directional so I could only move on the same side) and zip-tied up the heat shield that was just sitting and rattling because it had one of four press washer's (not sure of the correct name) holding it up. I figured zipties wouldn't rust out like the washers did... we'll see if they melt x-) I also adjusted a rear wheel bearing and tried to find any loose balljoints/tierods that I thought may have been there but none were found...
In the process I moved things around in my garage a bit to make it easier to work on the cars and tested out the new jack I got. The extra height the jack gave me was awesome! Very easy to do all the things I just went through :)
I would say that all in all it was a fairly productive Saturday.
There's no real point to this, but I was excited because I had some time to work on my car.
Anyway, today I plan on putting my headliner back together and busting a move on some clients webstuff I need to do. Then to a SuperBowl gtg at a friends house.
