my mkIV loves me. Now my keyless won't work. Hatch is always unlatched so I can always get into it. Can't lock both doors, Can lock on or the other. Alarm does not work. Windows will not roll up or down, sunroof will not open. If you hit the lock button while inside the car both doors lock and immediately unlock.

On a positive not the tail light works again

Sounds like we need to VAG-Com the comfort control module Sarah. We can see if it has any codes set.... it sounds like to me like the CCM may need to be replaced.

that's what I thought. I know Vincenzo, I'll see if it's replaced under warranty, get it replaced for free, swap in your old broken one and say it's broken again!

That's what I thought, I asked another friend today and he said possibly the wiring or a switch in the door.

I put them in order of gas milage too... the xb is winning just for that alone... I put about 20k on a year.

just throwing an idea but did you check your fuses?
possibly Fuse 14 (can't remember exactly off my head) it's a 5amp mini fuse.
It did the same thing to my car with all the door locks working silly with the remote :( but then all the interior lights were off too.
Hopefully it's not the whole CCM you need to replace aren't they pretty expensive?

I had a similar problem with my Beetle. The locks would lock automatically and then immediately unlock. My windows would also roll all the way down completely at random. I would go to work and come back out to leave and my windows were down. Super annoying it was.
Rich cleared my codes and it never happened again.

Hey I had the same problem...It turned out to be a mini fuse..im not sure what it was for but check all your fuses..cause thats what it was when my locks and windows and sun roof and alarm didnt work. Its one of those mini fuses in the 1st 2 rows..just check em all..
