I need some speakers for my truck. Something cheap but decent. It has one crappy speaker right now and a '86 Toyota deck with broken presets. I'm putting in a newer CD deck that I have and would like to have at least two speakers.
I think it takes 4" speaker up front. Possible 6.5s in the back, I don't think there is anything there right now. That being said pretty much anything could work in the back. What would you guys do?

At Dave's recommendation I bought some Pheonix Gold speakers for my truck and have been very happy with the sound quality for such an inexpensive speaker!
that's my $0.02!! GL!!

you used to be able to pick up pioneer 6x9's 2 or 3 ways, for cheap and the boxes too, thats all i used for 4yrs. loved them, definitely a great setup for the rear.

Brent, not sure they will fit but I'll let you know. They are dash speakers so its pretty tight. I checked around online and there are cheaper than I thought.
I'll probably do a couple 6x9s in boxes in the back unless I can find some 6.5 boxes..never seen them though. Anybody seen 6x9 boxes for sale anywhere cheap?

Sandro (from up at the shop) has home speakers in the back of his rabbit, it came wired that way
you could always try that haha
