good day at the J-yard

I went to the junkyard in east syracuse today... and WOW do they have alot of dubs... they have

MKI one 2 door rabbit GAS in really good shape.. (baby blue)

MKII TONS of golfs and jettas... one two door coupe Jetta in good shape.. (90')

MKIII at least three teall jettas and a black one

B3 passats I saw a few... mainly 16 Valves

and as far as what I got... I got a new back deck for my MKIII Jetta (where the rear speakers go), I got a new interior trim piece that I broke taken it out for the MKII, I got a set of rear side dome lights out of a MKIII for the MKII, and some glove box parts for my MKIII dash swap... then the usual nuts, bolts, fuses, and lug nuts...:wink:

Jake (95trooper) and I went to the yard in E.Syracuse today, and I scored big IMO

I got a MKIII lower black glove box, drivers side textured side door molding, and a passenger side air bag cover for the dash (my old one broke when I smashed the golf)

the glove box and airbag cover are for the MKII Carat, but the molding for the MKIII...

and the best part is, I paid $12.00 for ALL of it...

nope, they had like three B3's but only one was left... no B4's that I saw

might have to come up your way for parts. The pick a part down here is ok...but you get what you see...
A few recent B3's have come in...16v... a couple VR's though...one with a complete swap just sitting there (auto trans though...good/bad thing... good that the motor probably hasn't been beat, bad....auto) and another VR that someone really ruined the interior in. Had nice tan leather that I would have bought everything inside but someone just ripped the door panels off, left windows open, etc. ruining the interior... the motor in that one is still complete as well...minus valve cover and intake manifold/TB.... if I was into VR's, I'd pick one of them up!

I'm on the hunt for a B4 armrest/console for my b3 if anyone knows of one around anywhere :)
