what years were the grills and such on?
will rabbit headlights work?

found headlights on e-bay for up to 86 vw
not sure if they will fit.

any other info on westys i might need to know that i dont

square lights your talking? you should be able to just get the right size like 4x6 or whatever they may be.

85/86 only I believe. You need the rad support, lights and grill. lights are 4x6, might be able to use rabbit ones but I think they are different buckets - could be wrong.

85 only.. I had an 86 (shiftndubs car) ....and it has normal headlights....

and I don't believe that MKI lights/grill will fit... I have a rabbit grill if you wanna try it out Rob... just LMK:wink:

Well the wayI see it is;

There is a wide spread mis-conseption of which year the MkI ends and the MkII begins, and this is different no matter where you look on "the net" (Sandra Bullock Hmmmm Yummmy) but this all depends on which month the car was built in. I think Rob is thinking about the Grille I mentioned previously. Yes the grille itself will fit, the headlights will (obviously) but they wont fit the Rad support (perse) as Jay posted, but you can easily mod. this and make them work. If this doesnt make sense, sorry, its New Years Eve. :smile: :laugh: :rofl:

very true on all generations of jetta/golfs. There are 2006 MKIV's and 2006 MKVs
