Putting in new plugs...don't really want to go to the dealer to have it done...not sure they would even do it since they aren't OEM. Thinking about doing it myself...but haven't been able to find anything on the net about what is needed to do it ones self on the 2.0t fsi. Basicly need to find out what tools and what torque settings. Anyone know a good resourse to find this out?

Erik... I imagine it is much that same as it is on MKIV trubo engines.... Unplug/remove coil packs, remove plugs, gap/check gap on new plugs, install plugs, torque to 30n-m, re-install coil packs and yur done.

took a test run and took off the engine cover...not as much of a pain in the ass as I thought it might be...but I did break one of the mounting posts...made of plastic and screw into tabs on the motor. $6 for a new one from VW...the coil packs will just pull out correct? Never done these before...I went with the BRK7eix ala Dave. Those plugs come pre gapped and the gap is not supposed to be changed...I will check them...to make sure...they are gapped at .030...seems easy enough...but still a bit nerve racking.
