ok I am reading though my manual, and it looks like I have the ability to watch my air fuel on my laptop. Is this correct and if so is there any advantage to running the lm1 and gauge I have??

also does it matter how many times you tap into the wide band wires from the o2 sens. will it weaken the signal at all.

right now I have

o2 to standalone to lm1 to air fuel gauge....is this ok or should I delete the lm 1/ or gauge/ or standalone....

Brent you still need the LM1. The LM1 controlls the sensor and realys the output.
The C950 allows you to view the AFR from the LM1 through the Holley software on the laptop. And it allows you to datalog all your values along with AFR which is helpful with tuning.
You shouldn't be tapping into any of the O2 wires really. O2 to LM1, LM1 to gauge/Holley, having both hooked up should have a negligible effect.

ok....that makes a bit of sense.....
ok so 02 to lm1, then do I use the serial port or analog out on the lm1 to go to the lap top..... how do you send the info to two things without tapping into the wires???

did i ever mention I suck at electrical stuff....

also does the lm1 need to have the 9v and direct power to work right.?

Most likely its analog out to the gauge and Holley. Serial would be for the laptop usually. Do you have directions? I've never had a LM1 myself, I'm familiar with a couple others though.

the directions I have say nothing about it. They are very poor in discription. I will try to find some info on the website. looks like the fial stuff is going to be the hardest for me though.

You can always hook it up to the Holley later. You don't need a O2 sensor for it to run.
